Having a dedicated track car for drag racing that runs 12s is fucking stupid people drive 12 and 11 sec cars to the track all the time…
Most of the reasons they don’t go faster is they don’t want it a dedicated track car.
So a car that starts off running 12s will only run 12s its whole existence? Not everyone busts out running 10s their first year of building a car. People’s budgets and time comes into play. What if the next season the car comes out with a ls1. Then the following year having a snail on it. Now your running 9s 10s whatever so in your logic then its ok. But if its your first year and your running 12s then you better pony up to buy a car with a title because you need to be driving it to the track.

First off thank you to ctspoolin and Deebo for backing my car and understanding the point that my shot at arch angel was just bringing up a point and was not intended as shooting off at the mouth. Also for explaining that i do have a setup that works proper and is capable of what i said in the first place.
As i have stated i like all cars just the same…with that in mind…Im with you, rather than making a claim i just mentioned to our buddy arch angel that someone with my setup could possibly be as fast as his, that was all i meant by it.
LZ, I have a dsm and i agree with you on the fact that people stake claims every year that never happen. I only mentioned that his specific car wasnt the only one in the world that could go fast for cheap. I think there are plenty of platforms that go fast for cheap. I believe that you also know that dsm’s arent the only cars that break, people like you and i who have modded shitloads of cars know that everything breaks, especially if you mod it, and definitly if you mod it blindly like alot of people do. The people that are modding properly and going fast, are not on the local forum making threads that say in fucking capital letters ‘‘MAN IM GONNA HAUL ASS FOR CHEAP’’ the guys doing things properly have detailed, proper threads similar to your FD thread, and psphinx’s evo build, and sobo’s evo build and they keep their mouth fucking shut. 9 times out of ten the fastest guy around is also the quietest. Because they dont feel the need to make claims, they know what they are capable of. Anybody can spin anything in our own direction. Im sure you havent listed all the v8 cars that you can think of, and god knows there are shitloads of them around that haul balls. Just the same there are plenty of dsm’s that werent mentioned on that nyspeed last, which we all know was not up tyo date ever.
-For example, heres a good explanation why there aren’t alot of fast dsm’s. Since 2005-2006 anybody that wants AWD and turbo has an evo. There are fucking shitloads of 12 and 11 and 10 second evo’s fucking everywhere think about it. But the ls1 following continues to grow, as the motors get cheaper and people get smarter they are swapping to everything now and going fast.
-another example, there were fast dsm’s around the last few years, that either dont go to the track, don’t post, or maybe don’t even know the forum exists. There was a green 1g around with a 30r that would have easily went 11’s no problem. Burch ran 10.3 back in 2007, there was that white 2g with like 500hp for sale on here, and that red 2g with 400+ponies that was ten second capable. Whoever has owned jasons vr4 could have been running 11’s or faster for the last three years, there are plenty of viable options. I could care less if someone is running 9’s on a damn bar stool. And im sure there are all sorts of cars hauling ass that we dont know about. Overall we are all wasting alot of time on the fact that arch angel is a clown.
