someone actually had it on here before… and its pretty old now… kinda neat but meh
you’d still have to use the clutch between up/down shifts…kinda pointless IMO
real question is…who’s ballin enough to run a sequential transmission on thier SR?
^ That too has been done. Can’t remember dude’s SN, but he had a 6spd HKS sequential. Ran it for a while, fucked it up, and as far as I know, it hasn’t gone back in.
I saw it and thought it was cool.
A lot of the serious time attack and drift teams in japan run them.

That’s a hardcore tranny but I don’t think it was fully sequential.
i’d personally rather keep the normal shifter. this, like paddle shifting, has it’s advantages but unless i’m a serious race car driver, wouldn’t do much for me
Honestly for the money that that simple shifter kit costs… i rather spend 3000$ish on a custom built t56 that can handle 800lbs/ft of torque and be basically indestructable for my needs for my v8 swap lmao
It just doesn’t make sense, it’s expensive because its kind of one of and ‘jdm’… thats about it… its a nifty damn shifter for a regular transmission :-/
this is cool if its used for a track application otherwise its not so needed.

The point is, it’s an overpriced item that some folks wana brag about. Doesn’t make sense to spend nearly 1500$ on a SHIFTER, not a transmission, A SHIFTER! For that money in the states you can pick up a t56. Spend a bit more and you can buy a custom built t56 brand new, not used.
Secondly, I talk about what I want and get it done, stop being butt hurt. Have been building my car since 2006 and got done whatever I said I would in sequence. I love it and you are just another hater 
I am goal oriented, make plans and fulfill them. Doesn’t make sense to drop a penny on something that you won’t be satisfied with.
Again, this is basically a fancy SHIFTER kit, not an actual transmission!

its only 1500 thats really not too bad.
for the amount ikeya forumla invested in designing and manufacturing these shifters for multiple applications (s13,rx7 ect) 1500 is not bad
and i was thinking, you could use this shifter with a stock trans built with dog gears and shift sequentially with no clutch between gear changes. maybe save some money instead of buying HKS,OS Giken or some other full out seq. trans.
