^^ That’s correct but because I know a few guys will show up last minute, it wouldn’t be cool to tell people to go home after driving 2-3hrs to the track.
There will be plenty of space available, no need to worry.
I myself have been to several 8hr drift events at nelson and I’ve seen at least 30min of track time with NO CARS on at all.
We also need to cover our costs because we missed the pre-pay deadline since everyone slacked on payment, so we had to front a bit of our own money to make this track day happen. We aren’t here to host track days and lose money, we want to break-even.
We did not make the deadline for 15 drivers (not including the organizers) for Sept 5th as seen in the 1st page of the thread.
Because of that, we had to front our own money to make OUR deadline to book the track.
We will accept more drivers because of that so we can at least break-even.
I have a feeling a few drivers will come the day of the event, and we aren’t going to tell fellow community members to go home after driving 2-3hrs to the track.
For those who have gone to full day events, you know how much track time you get and you know how impossible it is to use even 3/4 of the track time.
Don’t worry about the logistics, just be happy that this event is happening yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
We’ll have a drivers meeting before we open up to advice any newcomers in how things work. We will post up the exact times in which these will be happening.
