Not eating or sleeping is not the Casino’s concern… how are they supposed to know thats happening? Even if they did, how are they supposed to know that shes not fasting for religious reasons or some other BS…

Now, if she continually literally passed out ON a table… I would say security / pit boss should check on her… even though I’m sure she said “I’m fine, I’m not leaving, I’m feeling lucky” :bloated:

Possibility for her dying, before anyone jumps on it. Is playing slots hasn’t had any water for days, disregards the signs to make the money back she lost eventually passes out from dehydration, in some remote corner of the casino playing slots. Add some alcohol to the mix, you’ve got a real mess.

Devils Advocate: Have you ever spent time on a casino floor? Staff come around regularly offering drinks (water, alcohol, jiuce, etc)… so the option is there. If the moran turns it down then that is her fault.

These are obviously people with gambling problems (most casinos I’ve been in have signage about respsonible gambling & such), beyond that, as long as they are not wrecknig the joint, why should the casino be responsible to their welfare?

Obviously if someone passes out, security staff responds immediately… I’ve seen it happen once in Vegas.

Casinos are billion dollar a year companies. They will go to court and deal with this because if she wins it will cause a whole wave of lawsuits.

Oh, and as far as the thread title: “We” won’t pay for it, the casino companies have more then enough cash on hand. Hotel room prices may go up a bit, but its not like this would be a case paid by tax burdens. FWIW

1. How she said she passed out. I would ask for specific dates, and pull up the video of it. Casinos tape ever inch of the building. They could easily prove she didn’t pass out. Even if she did, who the fug cares.

no one wants this to get thrown out more then casinos they dont make it a habit of giving money away. also if this goes through the floodgates will open for every family that was torn apart by gambling, she woulda had a better chance of recoving some money through a class action suit.
