I propose the following:
Leave Albany Saturday morning on December 11th. Ski Whiteface Mt. all day. Stay at Comfort Inn (or other similar decent yet reasonably priced hotel) in Lake Placid on Saturday night. Ski Whiteface on Sunday, and return home Sunday night.
