I didn’t get very good traction on that run, but i hear what your saying. I’m sure your traction issue was FAR worse than mine.
very bad. i didnt have the wheels i have on now, i had some bald 205-55-16s on 6.5inch wheels, even at only 15psi of boost it was awful, i had what seemed like a decent launch going, slipped the clutch out of the hole, then started rolling onto the throttle as soon as boost hit in 1st the tires lit up, i peddled it some and held 1st out to about 7400, pulled 2nd and the tires went up again, let off, hit it again and they fought for traction the entire gear… but i picked up about 26mph on the back 1/8th
ill head back when i get my intercooler and get 24psi in 3rd and 4th dialed and see how bad it goes at that boost on street tires, i need to get some slicks.
id just get tires for it brett, aint much point in runnin that kinda power on those tires bud. it would look sick with a set of black 15’s with slicks and skinnies anyways lmao
slicks would go on my steelies which are black 15s.
but anyway, may 7th. 14.0/105mph, 2.4 60ft. 2002 GTI 1.8T, 15psi.
