As the title says, I was wondering if it was possible to shorten this line:
As you can see in the pic, the line is vay too long.
My plan was to remove it from the hard line below and if possible snip it to size.
I’ve searched to no avail and I was wondering if anyone has done this here.
And I really don’t want to attach it as is, bout if I hafta, then so be it.
Most hydraulic store’s can make you the line if you take it there. however i’ve never seen a motor swap where you need to shorten it, even LS1’s.
Make sure you get it done properly, I had to replace mine twice!!
Clearly on the pic you see the connection to the PS pump (coppery looking thing in the centre of the pic). Its like a foot too long.

Bosch, or Goodall can do that stuff for you. Or make you a brand new hose.
Why not just make a big U out of it. I mean it wont look that great but it will be functional.

And its going to get in the way of the intake & intercooler piping.
And why not spend a little more to make it look purdy
