i was thinkin that while i have the head out i just had it plained and a valve job should i have it port and polished yes or no how much does it cost? pros and cons and is zex the way to go or small turbo i want it to be reiliable not a evryday draiver but reiliable on mini me
it depends on what you want out of the car. If you just want some go every now and then, then yes zex would be fine for you. But if it was a car you plan to drive a lot and wanted more power then turbo it. As far as porting and polishing, I dont see a reason to not do it if you have the funds and a shop to do it.

zex kit = 400 & 2 hours install
Small turbo setup = Atleast $1500 and many many hours of research and installation.
Nitrous is just as fun as boost but you don’t have it all the time
I don’t know what the going rate is for a SOHC head, but head work for a B series usually goes for $800 - 1000 from RLZ, Alaniz and I think Endyn is even more.
I think I paid $150 just to ship the head there and back.

ex/si tranny is the way to go. JER on racepa.com has an ex tranny for sale. Use the “.” button more often

If you use the ZEX 82011 kit it is a very easy install. Any questions w/ the install let me know, but its easy enough my girly could hook it up.

You aren’t supposed to mess with the flow of V-tec heads.
Personally, i’d go with the turbo. Maybe a T3 or something. T3’s are small but they spool fast. Since u have a small engine the T3 should be perfect for u. Run like 10 lbs. You’d have urself a sick little car man. I hear that ZC’s have a decent comp ratio too (not too high, not too low)
It’s Vtec for God’s sake!
All your gonna do with nitrous is wreck your motor, ZC’s arent made to handle NOS.
