Should the Eye Candy Video section be for auto only?

I’m debating on splitting the Eye candy video in a similar fashion as to the picture section.

All OT picture posts go into OT, and auto pictures get their own section, since after all, it may be hard to believe but we are an auto forum.

I was thinking of doing the same thing with Video’s.

All random, OT videos will be it’s own thread in Offbeat while all the auto video’s will be in the section.

So when you click on either the picture section or the video section, there will only be auto related material there.

EDIT: wait, i’m a little confused, are you saying have an “auto video” section, a “offtopic video” section, and a “photo and detailing” section, all within the “eye candy” section? if so, i like that idea :lol

I’m saying from now on, all the threads you want to make about a non auto video, will just be posted in offtopic, meanwhile eye candy section will belong to auto pictures and auto videos.

oh, ok. i think that 2 video sections would work well, one auto and one non-auto.

Separate the two but instead of putting the non-auto category in OT make a new section in the Pictures/Video spot, for OT video.

It may get a little cluttered having multiple sections all related to video/picture. Plus it will cause more chances for people to post in the wrong section.

Yep that’s why I was thinking of just mixing it with Offbeat, plus they would get more traffic that way.

As it sits now it’s sort of wierd that the picture section is for Auto only, but Video is for all.
