That M50? As an outsider who knows nothing about you guys…why make all this stuff public? I know I have seen at least 2 issues involving TurboCiv gone public in the past few months. Why not handle it like real men instead of bickering on a car forum?

You’re not an NYSpeeder and you don’t know Jay or John, just a potential customer of either of them doing a little Googling to see if you want to bring your project to one of them because heard of their services through a buddy, or a web search… whatever. You stumble across this thread. Are you more or less likely to do business with either of them?
Sometimes it’s not about sticking up for yourself or being more right when it comes to being a small business owner. It sucks to have someone bad mouth you but engaging them directly like this makes you look less professional. Simply posting unedited pictures along with the edits on future projects with no mention of why would have accomplished defending your work while keeping potential customers from seeing a shit show that this thread has turned into.
There are two guys on here that really seem to get this concept… Mike @ Innovative and Jason @ Black Forest. Everything they post as the face of their business is professional and positive. Knowing some of the history with Innovative’s competitors I’m sure Mike could have made several threads like this but instead he puts his efforts into building cars like Voltron and creating threads about how his creation just owned everything the country of Canada had to throw at it.
The farther this thread goes in the current direction that harder it will be for both of you to undo it and that’s unfortunate for a small automotive community. The vast majority of NYSpeed wants to see both of your businesses succeed.

its an on going trend as of late. that’s fine, everytime threads like this are started my inbox fills up with people requesting quotes for work. 
I for one am glad these things happen because I get to learn who my true friends realy are. So people can keep on flaming on!
This is the second time im getting called out publicly and im constantly being told about certain other shops and there associates constantly talking shit and spreading rumors. egging each other on till shit like this happens. Its cancer and it spreads like wildfire. If people want to air out the dirty laundry I can do this for days. Ive rarely been on here these last few years and ive tried to sell and get out multiple times. yet people keep coming to me because other shops/people are dicking them around. Ive assembled and built more engines then I can think of. I have tuned more cars then I can count, all of which have been more then happy with my service over the last 8-10 yrs with the exception of 1 person who bought into the BS my competitors were spewing. I have a very good job, I make a good wage at my job. I could care less about my work at the shop. My dyno is paid off in full so basically I only need to cover my overhead. I don’t go out of my way to find work. People know what there getting when they come to me. A complete in house package from fabrication all the way down to the final tuning. This way its only one set of hands touching a car and one person liable if things go wrong. Lately ive been filtering out a lot of business because of situations like this. Ive been picking whos cars I tune and work on since my time is very short so it needs to be spent on people with money and proper understanding of how things work in the performance world.
Regardless of what Jason thinks, I constantly try to send people his way for exhaust quotes because its just not worth my time. They mostly reply by telling me they already did and he is too busy. That’s fine, I don’t get medical grade 316 stainless for free from my work. I cant compete with jasons prices, nor would I want to. I have shop, I have bills to pay. My shop isn’t mom and dads garage converted into a club house with everything paid for in full by mom and dad.
im realy not to sure what Jason wants me to respond to, there is 4 pages of bullshit none of which I realy care about to be honest. I just find it interesting the people that feel the need to add there two sense so ill keep this going. it doesn’t hurt me or effect anything I do in the least. But if jay wants to make amends and try to smooth things over this was in no way the route he should have taken.
As I can agree with both of you. And the post quoted. I will not let my name be tarnished for no reason. Especially jealousy. I’ve tried numerous times to meet with him. I get nothing in return. His loss of control/temper has shown that it’s really impossible to reason with him. His problem is with himself. Not I.

This thread was made to be a point that I don’t doctor my photos to appear better than I am. It was taken way out of control in typical nyspeed fashion. I myself don’t think I’ve gone too far.
I can also say this. As I agree with most of you guys that this has gone too far. Id like to add that if have ever had to defend your name, it’s different from inside the kill zone.
I’ve worked very hard to start this operation of mine. Between working 60-70 hours a week, traveling to PA every other week and taking care of a family member there is very little time for error. Everything I do has a part of me in it, and to be slandered, and having someone tell me I’m not a “fabricator” cannot go un noticed
