I’m on a market for a new LID as my Shoei is getting old and beat (nearly 5 years now :wow)
Definitely will want another high end model such as Shoei replacement but have always loved a feel of an Icon series such as Mainframe.
Probably will get this lid for this season as a spare.
Not sure what to get for new Shoei but I’ve loooooved my old flat black design.
And a I got a cheap HJC for the back seat warmers.
I was really diggin the CF helmet that Rocketpunch(iirc) posted!

Cheap compared to the Shoei/Arai top of the liners, but has many of the same features. A little bit heavier, but doesn’t bother me (I have a STRONG neck to hold up the extra couple oz’s! :lol). The only complaint I have is there is no lid cracked notch, so it’s kinda like either open 1/4 or closed. I checked out the newer models and they fixed this though.
I believe that is the HJC FS-15 Carbon.
I need to replace my 10 years old helmet… lol
I am getting a RF-1100 for next season.
heard good things about this one
My lid from last year, I usually get a new one every year, but I have to decide what I want for a bike this year before I can worry about getting a new helmet lol.
But it is totaled from my crash. There is about 4 inches of a crack in the CF on the top right. so it sits on the shelf.
Is what I am going to get this year for the street.
For MX this year too. or maybe another AC-3 CF if I can find another killer deal on that one again.
I will NOT be cheaping out on ANY helmet again in my life after spending $500 for a cf one and breaking it on a crash, saving $250 isnt worth my life!
Icon make great helmets for the money.
I wish more riders went with higher end cool helmets such as Suomy.
idk y i cant get the pic to show up sorry, the link shows what lid i have
i like icons but i think im gonna get a Shoei next
My shoei RF-1000

Haven’t really thought about it much lately…only time will tell, gotta start bike shopping soon though.
