So we used a police scanner and radios once racing on firetower road with 100+ cars…
Then for some random reason the cops jumped on our radio frequency and started yelling at us…
Trust me, police monitor River Road. I got a ticket 2 years ago with my Camaro. I had no idea where he came from.
who ever attempts to race on the road will be an idiot. I was just being sarcastic… but I’m sure it will happen.
I wasn’t even racing. I just jumped on it from across the street to beat the cars coming. Got to speed fast and loudly. My Camaro screams, so he thought I was speeding, etc…
There’s your problem. If you’d been in a Z they’d have only seen a blur. Can’t ticket it if it’s too fast to see.

Darn now I won’t be able to race against my brother’s GTI. And I won’t be able to race my Yamaha. Boo Oh well I’ll be living in a different state by then. Sucks i won’t have such an easy way to make a few passes when I come back to visit though.

The only shitty part about this is Lancaster’s is on weds. night too, so no more drag strip shenanigans unless you drive back and fourth… oh well.

I heard that there will still be grudge racing on wednesday nights at Dunn Tire but this year they are passing out timeslips.
Man, and I use to ride my bike up over an hour and a half for these “bar stool” races down the 1/4 mile…what will I look forward too now?!
I was gonna say awe man what about the promotions for the titty bar after cruise night but then i remembered there is a tiffany’s in Tonawanda too lol.
No one has mentioned this yet, but where the hell is everyone who goes to this going to park? I don’t think there is going to be enough grass for the large turn outs. Unless there is plenty of parking out there already?
