Shredd & Ragan no longer @ Lancaster

Sorry i know im new but i figured i throw my 2 pennies in here lol. I always wanted to see a show be put together at the drive in on harlem in cheektowaga before they closed. Could have been a cool venue. In the middle of everything and could have givin the drive in some much needed business. SAVE THE DRIVE IN!! Now its a damn atwal eye care! lol

^That would’ve been an awesome idea actually.

Wyrk is now the wednesday cruise night sponser at DTRP.

Interesting move. It will effect the turnout to the S&R night, but only a bit I’d imagine.

Would have been a great idea.

i wonder if anyone will notice… or care.

Great. The lawn mower drag racing class should be there in force. Can’t wait for the “Hot Mom” contest.

^ Hot mom contest you say? Might be worth the drive now. lol

Shredd and Ragan Cruise night starts Wednesday May 16 at Gratwick Park on River Road in NT.
The biggest and longest running cruise night in WNY!

Oh damn! So it’s a boat show too??

Some cars are classifed as boats.

They forgot, with rust buckets every week.

My favorite is the 5 or so guys that show up every week an hour before anyone, just to get that first couple parking spots. lol

I will attend one of these this year, just because it’s a good location. It may be a one time thing though if it’s anything like the last S&R CN I went to years ago…

Weekly afterparty down the road on Liberty…lol

Country 106.5 FM and Dunn Tire Raceway Park partner up for Cruise Nights in 2012

LANCASTER, N.Y. (March 23, 2012) – WYRK 106.5 FM and Dunn Tire Raceway Park are pleased to announce the racing facility’s popular Wednesday night cruise night will return for the 2012 season.

Partnering with the No. 1 radio station in Western New York will make an already big event even larger in 2012. All the popular aspects of the event such as Grudge Racing, Burn Out Contest, Custom Car Show and Awards are all returning this year; along with some new initiatives.

At least they are keeping the racing and burn out pit, but with this crowd it will be interesting to see what kinda cars actually participate.

I’m curious if we as NYSpeed should join the one at dunn tire with the hopes it won’t be packed enough that we can congregate in our own section? I think at the very least I’m going to scout it out on the 16th just to see.

The country part is killing it for me. I’m sure their will be a more mature croud… maybe, but more muscle cars than imports. I am interested to see that. Just wondering if they are charging to go.

I still want to have our own day again at Lancaster.

The real question people should be asking is which show will have the better people watching?

It should be pretty interesting to see what comes off the river and out of the boats…

Wait. So.
Dunn tire and N.T.?
