Not sure if the old thread is gone or if I’m blind.
Anyways, now that I took a shift on midnights my afternoons are free again. I’m gonna check it out. Figured why the eff not I can spare an hour or two to see what’s up.
Anyone else?
EDIT: Also I hope there aren’t police road blocks on the way in on both sides. I do not want a front plate ticket, but I am NOT drilling two holes in my front bumper, against the law? Yes, but I haven’t been ticketed in 3 years and I’d rather pay the 50$.
I went up. It was pretty busy but at the same time kind of lame, so many pieces of shit everywhere, both cars and owners. Probably will not go again this summer.
EDIT: I’d much rather go to an organized event and pay to be there. Obviously, POS cars aren’t as abundant at the Eastern Hills Mall show, but they don’t belong there either and I would like the event to start charging drivers.
And before someone calls me a douchebag viper owner, ten years ago when I had my beat neon, I knew where my car belonged at a car show, OUTSIDE of the show in a separate non-event parking lot, it’s called manners you fucking millennial dick asses.
Fuck free car shows, if I go back to Lancaster it’ll be in my daily that I’ll leave in the dirt lot.
Double edit: Still have a neon, just a less beat one.
LOL paying to be in a car show. Why the hell would I want to pay someone to park my car and stand next to it? Unless its a charity I’d never do it. How about we start getting on the events to hold a better standard of what they allow in the parking area and then you wont have to worry.
I could see major cities doing it or major events, however could you see enough people in our area wanting to do that? I get the muscle car shows and shows where you win awards, however I don’t see something like a cars and coffee or cruise night charging money in our area
I’ve only been there a few times on wed. I actually might be thinking of a time when I went on a Tuesday but the day before it had rained. Not only that but I believe it was the end of the season and it was like 40 degrees outside.
Basically my stock suspension with nittos and not a crazy amount of power I spun and wheel hopped and ran a 10.0 lol
Another time I ran mid 8s, so car isn’t crazy fast, you’d be surprised what gbodys can do with stock suspension.
Well like I said I’m not bringing any cars back except my focus which is just a daily. I’ll go back for my buddy’s burnout challenge stuff, he has a truck he uses just to do that.
And @yamba6 I was referring to the eastern hills mall, that should def have a fee, because even though there is “car control” of who comes in, it isn’t enforced. Of course in a perfect world everyone would know what shame is, and then control wouldn’t be needed.

No I did not race, as I have no desire to, nor am I good at it, so there’s not point.
Also who said anything about standing next to my car @JayS? I went around and checked out the show.
I can admit when I’m wrong and I should have known better with what to expect there.
EDIT: This still doesn’t take away from the fact that most, not all, millennials are entitled dildos.
I thought cars and coffee was a good turnout for the first one. I’m sure the as the time goes, more higher end cars will start showing as word gets out. Clarence has so damn nice cars driving around lately with new neighborhoods popping up. I believe we now have 3-5 Ferrari 458’s in the area. Handful of Maserati’s, porsches, etc.
