Man u arent fuckin around with this thing lol. Awsome work.
Finlay got some time to work on the car. Got the electric fan in. Works, lighter and takes up less space!
New parts! ALL from STM!!
Rear is next, then SS brake lines.
Did some work today!
The weight difference here is awesome! Thanks Buschur
Looks like Dave was right, this came apart differently then the book said it should.
Corrected
Lol i remember reading that on tre and laughing my ass off
Nice job! Is that just a tear down and reassembly of the rear diff or did you add another part? Im curious b/c I might do this in my evo
I think he just disassembled it and then reassembled it correctly as it should have it been.
Everything looks good man!
Correct, also wanted to check everythnig out. If I would have found anything worn or out of place I would send it out. Need to get some lock-tight then its going back together!
Nice job
is there any instructions on how to assemble it properly it doesnt look that bad to do
Sure, I used the service manual!
Going back together!
Got it in but I had to pull it back out to get the Mustache bar on. It was a tight fit
Deciding if I want a e-brake or not. Haven’t had one since I bought this car and haven’t had any issue but there are times it would be nice, like when you need to jump out of the car for a sec. with the car running.
definitely saves a little weight with out
So Jon is right, and that diff is assembled differently than the service manual says (for the US cars)? That is so ridiculous! I can’t wait to hear your opinion on how it feels with the rear end set up differently. Let us know.

i use my ebrake for launching at the track, you dont?
Car is back together. Needs an alignment and something really strange is going on with my rear diff fill plug, seams like its to small? The threads don’t look messed up and from what I could see the threads in the cover look to be ok also. I didn’t notice until after I added gear oil and went to tighten the plug. Not sure whats going on but I really hope I don’t need to take the whole rear end back out… At first I thought maybe I swapped plugs but the one with the magnet goes in the drain plug right??
I also re installed the e-brake
Looking good!
