I’m sorry Travis, call me an asshole but even I don’t believe you. There is no way in hell that anybank in this day an age will go SEVEN MONTHSwithout payment on a loan and not at the very least send a repo or claims adjuster to the cars location to either retrieve their asset or file a claim for it. Just does not happen.
The ~5 minute conversation I had with the lien holder this morning was proof enough that they did not know jack squat that the car was in this condition. When the man on the phone(Salvador) asked me what the car’s current condition was and I told him burnt to the ground totalled he was FLOORED, as there was no record of anything having been stated as such in the past.
I have taken the justified and legal steps in resolving this issue on my end. With that being said this is in the banks hands now. What is left of the chassis cannot move until they send a claims adjuster to see the car and make their claim.
Their will be no dropping off at his mothers house folks, that was going to be a last ditch effort if I could not get ahold of the bank. Now that they know where it is and ARE sending proper associates to come see what’s become of it, it is here to stay until then. It’s either getting repo’ed as is by the bank, or is getting signed off for me to dispose of what’s left, which will go straight to the scrap yard if that’s the case.
