Hey it’s true I was reading in a magazine article that in Japan the nissan 180sx 200sx ans Sylvia are one of the top stolen vehicles there and when they find them the engine and transmission are missing or they have been completely taken them apart and they say most of those parts are shipped out to places like Canada/USA for people to do motor swaps etc. One of my cousins in USA works for NYPD fraud squad and he was telling me that the theft ratio of 240sx’s is gone up completely in the past year, it’s only a matter of time that they start stealing them here. I want to get a good alarm on mine not this clifford shit. I want something that will able me to get realy creative with it and make it realy hard to get the car started and I want to run the wires somewhere completely different where they are not accesable. Im working on it Im trying to put my own alarm system together it will take some time and unless they have a tow truck my car isn’t going anywhere.
Toronto240sx…when you figured out a great place to wire it all, be sure to inform me about it. I’m just a paranoid mess when it comes to leaving my car parked somewhere and I’m not there to watch after it. Its my baby, I’m its mommy and momma don’t want anything to happen her baby!! Same applies for my mom’s Z32 when i take it out. Can someone cut the umbilical cord please?!
Well, I’m asking around to find out which good products are out there to prevent auto theft. So far, COMPUSTAR is good out in the westcoast. Its one of those pager alarms. If it works out there, then it can work here!
