2003 Lancer Evolution
JA3AH86F93U089957
137,000 miles
$12,5000 or best offer
(Rochester, NY)
This is my personal daily driver. This is a private sale from me to you.
In October 2012, I picked this car up at a local dealership with 113,000 miles on it, put on some snow tires, and put Ricer in the garage!
I don’t know any of the previous history, so I apologize.
Current Mods:
S1 cams
Walbro 255
Nokya Yellow Foglights
Sony radio with iPod port
Evo IX wing
Evo IX spark cover
STM Aluminum Power Steering Reservoir
Brand new shift knob
Bad ass yellow battery! {thumbup}
Otherwise… all stock! :mitsu:
I had Emery look over the ECU and he put the factory map in, did a couple pulls and just make sure it’s all straight.
Just passed inspection.
Drivetrain fluids were flushed (I’m estimating here… around November 2013)
OEM Timing Belt, tensioner, water pump (around November 2013 ~128k)
New OEM Starter
Replacement Radiator
Replaced the slave cylinder
Changed the oil regularly
I have 2 keys and one FOB.
It drives good. It’s not Ricer, it’s not a show car, it’s a cheap Evo for someone’s project car or a fun as hell daily driver / winter car! It could use some rotors and pads (or just pads) likely soon. It’s not noisy and stops fine, but it’s probably time. The suspension… was shot, so we put in a set with 70k… and that’s not a spring chicken either. The Brembos are faded. The rear bumper was hit parked one night… the heat of last summer popped it out on its own. {thumbup} But the paint flaked off. I know rear bumpers are cheap, I keep seeing them pop up for sale, but not in my area.
It needs some love, not maintenance love, but it’s upgrade time. It’s time for someone else to love her.
The clutch is good. I don’t know what it is, but it has a heavy-ish pedal compared to my triple. Probably a 2100 or something similiar. I did launch it twice when I first got it to know… she went! lol But after that, I didn’t beat on it… Save for a few donuts in the parking lot after work Never did a full 1-2-3-4 run. It’s slow
What else… Tranny is good. Second is cranky when it’s cold. They all are. Thank you Mitsubishi.
The glove box will pop open if you don’t slam it.
Intercooler sprayer doesn’t work.
It’s a 137k mileage Evo. It’s clean for what it is.
Fun facts:
The steering wheel is from the STM drag RS, as well as the floormats.
The ashtray is from my black 9 second Evo.
The center console is the original from Ricer.
I am selling this wonderful car because I have a 2014 Evo X to drive and three Evo’s in the driveway is AWESOME… however very much not necessary.

This one rear passenger fender has rust starting. It’s not terribly visible… but it will present a problem soon. Other than that, it’s not all that bad.
so… maybe overkill on the pics, but I’d prefer you know the details.
