Well PM me when you are headed to the Sac. I live 15 mins from Lanzies and will def swing up. There are a hand full of fully prepped sleds that run, so you will have a good time for sure.

the way things are looking that lake wont even be safe to go on this year between the weather and how much they are fluctuating the water level cause of the bridge they are building.

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Dangerous nitrous bottle is dangerous.

.

Yah the Sac is sketch for sure. Its just close for me so I go up there alot.

Heaves kill someone every year up there. I NEVER ride at night up there, if I do I am putzing across the lake and make sure I stick to the “trail”.

His is a 2 liter, with 121.9cu inch displacement.
Unless its the F22C, I think his is the F20 though.

thank you

You have to consider the fact that the snowmobile track/skid system is very inefficient and sucks a ton of power.

.

I understand.

I like you and all, but what are you trying to figure out or prove? If a sled with an equal hp/weight ratio as a car is faster or slower than the car?

FWIW, I was never really impressed with my turbo RX1. I ran it on AVGAS and it made about 260 horsepower. Can’t imagine it without the turbo (I bought it, rode it into the garage, and turbo’ed it). Sure, I know yours is faster, but still.

Look up Clay Rafferty. He’s a huge name in sled racing and lives about 15 minutes from me. My father ran “Team Kyotee” in the 80’s, a very successful race team.

.

I think you’re implying that if you turbo’ed it, it could make a ton more power. I don’t know, lol.

I understand that you’re just trying to give the people that don’t know sleds an idea of how fast it is. But, to be blunt, most people on here don’t care. It’s an automotive (and some bike) forum after all.

I’ll give you props because I grew up around drag sleds and know what it takes to make them go fast. But the masses are just going to see it as a novelty more than anything.

It doesn’t help the matter when you’ve called out cars with it in the past:rofl

12’s all day

Apples to Oranges

I dont understand why people cant respect speed at the track for speed at the track?

I watched Passtime last night. Some 4100LB Wagon ran a 8.98 @160something. Thats alot of car moving damn quick. I respect that becasue of the work put into it. Some chick sat on a stretched gsxr1K and banged out a 8 something pass. She can ride damn good. Then there were the hand full of average joes with punched out smallblock 3100-3300 cars running 10.50’s and 11’s. Big whoop. They are a dime a dozen.

Drag racing is about the easiest driver sport out there. Fast cars takes a ton of mechanical skill and relatively little driver skill. Fast bikes move the scale way over to the rider skill VS mechanical skill. Sleds I put somewhere in the middle. There is alot to riding it other than squeezing your thumb to the bar, and a ton of setup to get it down the track each pass.

Anything can be fast. I have little track respect for the people who meander around the middle of the herd… dime a dozen setups. I respect the shit out of people building something and running something that makes you say, Whoaaa.

this sled is like whoaaa
