Helpful, but I leave for Charlotte tomorrow and would like to TRY and do this today :stuck_out_tongue:

have it shipped there now… it will be waiting at the hotel for you

you will also need somethign (software) to read the data from the sim…

the guys at sprint did it for me from my old tmobile phone.

Like I said, I tried taking it ti a Verizon store. They tried and failed, miserably.

have an intern do it… as in transfer all your stuff. thats what im going to do.

Anyone know if local retailers would sell these things?

what you could do is get the data cable for both phones - use a free software called Bitpim, i think its on sourceforge and pull the data from the phone… its actually really easy to do if your just trying to pull active data.

oh you poor CDMA people

call evolve

Bought the data cable… only $29.99. Guess I’ll just play around with it tonight. :stuck_out_tongue:

:hay:

super easy

edit: wouldnt have been an issue had you contacted me first about buying a phone…would have been free too

Discounts through work for Verizon > * … sorry Jeff. Data cable worked with iDen’s software. Bitpim doesn’t work with Nextel phones… silly Krazyjon :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh yeah, I’m posting this whie waiting for my flight in the airport. Evdo > me

Silly Andy

word, evdo is sweet. i can understand the work discounts, but most of the time i can do those as well

bit pim for nextel does work… you just used it wrong :stuck_out_tongue:
