I picked up a 2001 BMW 540i. Nothing special, but a good amount of power and comfort for driving the little one around. I will have better pictures when they are done polishing it and changing out the clutch and some other things that I didn’t like. Sarah tried to leave with a Denali, but thankfully that was squashed, I will probably be adding a tiguan or a tourag to the garage next to this.
Basically anything that you say to do within reasonable $ I would barely hesitate to think about. I am pretty sure that you know more about BMW’s than their own engineers.
Won’t cost you anything other than removing it and rebleeding the clutch (ok so some fluid and time).
Gets rid of that awful “hey I’m going to slip the clutch for you since our average customer is awful at driving stick so you have to buy another clutch in 50k miles” feeling.
