snowboarding and hockey are raw dog int he winter. maybe the lake will actually freeze this year and we can get some pond hockey going

Pat, we should have a killington reunion party, and watch the infamous video when the chalet got FUCKED UP.

i would be down for any ski trips anyone has planned. skiing is the greatest. i have a place in whistler for new years and cant wait to get there.

Joe that cliff I am hitting in one of my pics is at Whistler. I highly recommend it.
Mike, I am down to watch that video whenever. Let me know.

I’d participate, but I figure you’d like to keep this WS

i went to whistler for spring break in 2002. it was by far the best skiing i have ever experienced in my life. between the terrain and the (actually somehwat unusual for the area) soft snow we got froma storm that hit 2 nights out of the 5 we were there…ugh

pat where else have you been?

Typical places east:
Bristol
Wyndam Mountain just south of Albany
Sugarbush, Killington, Mad River Glen, Mt. Snow, Okemo
Sun Valley
Snowbird and Alta
Whistler

I think thats it. Out west FTW but Mad River has some great terrain.

i agree mad river is great. i have been a few more places west. i would love to make it to jackson hole. alta is on the list too.

got any hookups on ski repair? my brand new skiis took a beating last year in killington and i need a few gouges repaired. all my repair stuff was thrown out of my parents house a few years ago.

FTW.

Ya Jackson hole is on my list for sure. My wife brother lives in Yellowstone and have some friends that work at Jackson Hole.

For ski repair, Cupolo sports has everything I need, including a catchy jingle. I know the owner so he hooks me up and I may try to work at their place at Kissing Bridge this year. Let me know and I can take your skis up there and have them done for free. Other then that Audi Sniper is also a resourse.

I have been to Jackson Hole a couple times.
It WAS the best skiing but now that the tram is closed it is no where near what it was.
When the new, bigger, better, faster tram opens it will be the best again.

Thats money right thur

Eh, the tram,. while Iconic doesn’ change the fact that the skiing is absurd there. They opened up lifts that give access to the same terrain that was served by the tram. It should still go off as crazy as always.

Jackson is Big Mountain crazy. My vote goes to the Bird though just because of the quantity and quality of the snow they get, and sheer size.
