Yeah, I live in the sticks.
My friends and I used to do off-roading all the time, night time runs were a lot of fun. So I couldnt pass up the offer today.
When you are in a town that has posted speed limit signs for ATV’s on a public road you know you’re somewhere special. All of us talking like complete woodchucks on purpose during the run only makes the experience that much more realistic.
This was more of an easy trail run today with a little mud fun afterwards, nothing too extreme.
Changing a wheel out if you blow one or jacking you up and around obstacles if need be. Like K20Power said, since they have the big tires and big lifts, they need a bigger jack to get that simple stuff done.
A good friend of mine has a 03 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with a 4.5" lift on 35" tires and I’m sure he would LOOOVE to go wheelin with you guys sometime!!!
That looks awesome, is that a public trail? Im putting some 30’s or 31’s on my gf’s 99 XJ and will probably do a small lift and Id love to test it out somewhere.
Shot #14 shows how far it went, he couldnt make it past the wall of mud at the end. He has 35’s on the red Jeep and those ruts were very deep. Something tried to go through that with a much larger tire and by the looks of it, they didnt make it all the way through either.
lol
Red Jeep was workin’ overtime :rofl
I’m not sure if the trail is public or not. No one said anything to us that passed by on ATV’s, but that doesnt always mean anything lol.
when i get the lift for my jeep in the spring it looks like i need to come wheelin with you guys, the cherokee is BA…looks like those cragers were doin werk and the BFG’s were suckin it big time haha
They cleaned out fairly well, the first pic is after he stopped backing up, so they clogged a little. Another friend of mine had a set of 38.5" SuperSwampers on his F-350, he said those worked great in the mud, they are rough as shit at low speeds on pavement though.
