Slice/Shamrock fight thread

He was never good to begin with! Who has he fought that shows any credibility? Kimbo Slice was so hyped up that he was a good fighter. Tough street fighter, yes. Professional athlete, NO.

I knw that, i wasnt questioning if he was good, i was questioning if he could take a punch, in the past he has fine but now i guess thats changed.

he could take a punch from people who thought they knew how to punch when he got hit by someone who can actually throw one he loses go back to barknuckle boxing bum.

This fight is now under investigation for “fight fixing” maybe i was right

link?

there u go

“This is how it hurts [UFC]; it hurts our mainstream growth. The people who aren’t hardcore fans … ask me ‘Oh, you have that Kimbo Slice guy.’ And I have to say no, ‘I don’t have Kimbo Slice.’ I would never bring Kimbo Slice into my organization.”

damn, this shit is real serious. that fight didn’t look right anyways, something was off.

Who cares at this point if its under investigation. Kimbo sucks IMO and so did his opponent. He was a nobody in the sport.

skill wisw yes he was a nobody, but the guy headlined one of the most successful nights in MMA history, he is not a god fighter, but hes far from a nobody.

There are plenty more successful nights in MMA history then that lame ass fight. Yea, this guy is in the lime light now because he took down Kimbo. WHO CARES! Kimbo wasn’t a MMA fighter to begin with! Kimbo was all hyped up by the media and his stupid youtube videos deeming him as someone great. That doesn’t mean the UFC is going to give this guy a shot because they already did and he didn’t cut it.

It wasnt the fight, it was the whole night, all the fights, ratings wise it did better than any MMA event ever they said.

Yea, i’m sure ratings wise it did quite well. I watched it because I wanted to see Kimbo get stomped.

cuz its on CBS on a saturday night. It’s the first and only MMA event on one of the main networks and it’s free. They can have a bunch of amputee fights and it will score better ratings then any UFC event on SPIKE.
