I ordered a set of slotted sub-frame collars for my 240. i was wondering how hard these are to install, as well as how much of a difference will be noticed once installed?
those subframe bolts are on real tight, i had to use an impact, its alot easier if you have acess to a lift
you will notice improved handling along with more noise and vibration coming from the rear
The slots make life easy.
Ya these are not too tough, took me about an hour to install. Just make sure you lower jack slowly after bolts are undone so that sub frame does not completely come off of bolts mounting it to car. Then just as easy as sliding them in, and jack it back into place, bolt back on and away you go.
