so for each of the thirty houses i go to in an evening, i should turn my car off, put the car in gear, and then walk the food to the door? i only bother with that on steep hills. if it took over a minute for it to happen (i walked up to the door, was waiting for the woman to pay me when the car crunched), the slope must have been pretty gradual.
as for the thing i said which “made no sense”? it would be the assumption that your an ass-spelunking homo due to the fact that you drive not only a Jetta, but a PINK Jetta. The most common car for a gay man, in the least heterosexual color VW ever sprayed. How does this not make sense to you?
granted i understand the concept of not wanting to start/stop your car each time but common sense would tell you on a hill of any kind hey maybe something bad could happen…

i always keep my car in gear with ebreak on when i parked no matter how long or hill etc

I use a clutch buddy when I am on a hill, that way I can keep the car running and in gear with the e-brake on if I have to run in and out somewhere.
