My Subaru tows a single trailer with mine on it. Not really seeing a problem with the GTO either as long as it has snow tires which it does.
I think I saw you on the thruway with that setup last night (a little after five). When I first pulled up behind you it looked like the trailer was self propelled, it totally hides the GTO towing it. LOL
x…
That was almost certainly us unless someone else is rocking a GTO tow vehicle for their 2 place sled trailer. We hit the thruway a little after 5 @ Cleveland drive, got off at the 400.
Is your hitch bolted to your trunk pan? I have a class 1 hitch on my TL formy bike rack and it scares me sometimes knowing it’s not bolted to the frame.
No, there’s a whole brace system under there that it bolts too. Even has a little flap you can remove from the aero tray under the bumper specifically to let the hitch pass through. Those Aussie’s aren’t dumb like us here in the US where we think we need F350’s to tow 1500 lb’s. Over there the car is rated for 3500 lbs.
Nice, between your trailer and sled I’m sure at most it would weigh, 1,500 lbs.
2000 ZR 600 = 483lbs dry weight.
13 gallons @ 6lbs/gal = 78 lbs
Sled total 561lbs x 2 sleds = 1122
2 place triton aluminum trailer = 400lbs
1522 lbs total.
Well let me give you credit for actually using a car to it potential. I’m impressed.
