Snowmobile shocks

Looking to have my snowmobile shocks rebuilt in the next few weeks before the big rush comes. Can anyone here recommend someone? I want them done right, not too concerned about price, just want them done!

there is a place in burnt hills on rt 50, I believe they are called monster performance. I haven’t been there personally but I have had a few friends go there and say they guy does top notch work for cheap. I think the owner used to work on race trucks or something. Check them out

His name is Ian. Pretty sure he has a new shop not in burnt hills anymore. Call him up. He’s got a cold attitude it seems, but he’s a good guy.

IMS Suspension in Rutland, VT. Fran has done all our suspension work for many years (he’s got 30+ yrs of experience), very knowledgeable, great guy!

Monster Performance HANDS DOWN. guy is serious about shocks. i worked for him 2 winter seasons ago when the shop was in burnt hills. He is located in Glens falls now. He will build a shock any way you want and you will be happy. GF is quite a ride, he is very organized about having stuff shipped in and turning it around fast. I would drop/send them out now he gets extremely busy around november and turnaround times can be over a week at that point. good luck

I was gonna say he is a bit “cold” but that comes from the snowmobile squirrels he deals with. he knows his shit. the best way to work with him is to download his rebuild sheet and fill it out and just hand it to him with the shocks that way there is minimal verbal exchange. he likes when people use the sheet and not talk his ear off because he’s always busy and mostly works alone. best way to work with him.

I’ve probably met you before then. I’ve been going to him for years now. He use to live out here in AP. I’ve been trying to go on one of his Canada trips, but haven’t had the time.
