Shops that work on 2-strokes?

Are there any local shops that do 2-stroke work for quads? Particularly porting and case boring. I have an 86 TRX250R that is going to need some work done down the road and would like a local place if possible over shipping out, unless there arent any options or good ones.

Also looking for shock revalving locally? Stock one is worn out and I’m apparently too heavy for it now so there’s very little travel, the Elka and Ohlins stuff is a little too $ right now for my use.

Try Klispies on Camp Rd. (Lake Ave.) in Hamburg. 99.8% sure they would do it.

never used him but worth a call.

I had niagara power sports build my 85 250r atc about 12 years ago and he did a great job. It was dangerous fast! haha

motion craft in EA. I’ve had really good luck with them.

Steve @ suspension systems sets up most of the stuff for the WNY moto x racers and super moto guys.

X20.

Whatever you do don’t go to Team Ziehm. We’ve had some of their bikes come through our shop and needless to say they are not on par with the “race machines” they claim to make.

Hot to Go and Fast by Gast on GI do lots of 2 stroke work/ boring and porting etc

Probably the best guy in the area for suspension. He rebuilt and setup all my old MX bikes back when I used to race. Nothing but good things to say about Steve’s work.

Work quality is great, however he would not even deal with me until I basically waved cash in his face.

Where is suspension systems located?

Batavia

Thanks for the info guys! Any ball park on what I’m looking at cost wise to get the shock redone?

60-120 depending on what you have/want done.
