i just picked up an 85 e with cross drilled rotors, bav auto lowering springs, recaro seats, chipped ecu, short throw shifter, bilstein shocks, 3 sets of wheels and tires and extra decklid for 300. no rot and rust but its dented up a bit. only mechanical downside is that it needs a headgasket. i drove it and it rips pretty good. pics up by the end of the weekend. sorry for the zombie-like post but im pretty tired.
nice. I love the gas mileage on the e. actually, I think I’m going to sell the e30 coupe and get a 4 door e and put euro bumpers on it
Awesome. The e has a redline at like 4500 right? Does the chip raise that, or is there a reason for the low redline, like weak valve springs or something?
The chip raises it to 5400ish. But stock it does redline at 4500.

like the ability to push the tach past 5k. its really crazy, the tach just stops but the motor keeps reving
