So I just bought a 2007 R1. Must say it handles amazing, power is good, but really cant test it out till 600 miles are on it. Really shocked because im a suzuki guy but love this new yamaha. :tup:
Gone up since the old 3.9-4.9% days… Today it is 8.9% for 24mo…
Best thing to do, IMO, if you’re going to buy new with credit is sign up for their card, get the 0 down, 0 payments, 0 interest for 6mo. In 6mo sign up for a credit card that offers 0% interest for 12mo on new balanace transfers for signing up. You can keep doing this and pay 0% interest til you pay it off in 2-5 years…

i sold the honda last year right before mid-ohio.
the new bike is charcoal silvery color.

after the 600 mile break in period would be good for me.
im guessing 10.50-80’s because i will have a tough time launching good, and my time will be slower than the guy who test rode it to get the time of 9.93. he’s about 160lbs, and im 215.

Mile 11-12: 13.5krpm @ 186mph
Mile 3000: Oil change!
