Looks like I am picking up 66mm Trinity stage 2 cylinders with wiesco pistons for a good price. Most likely going with a brand new crank/ bearings. It’s just a matter of whats salvageable. I know I will need cyl and pistons without a doubt. Trying to save my cool head, so I will just pickup new domes for it.
im not a fan of wiseco pistons they are junk in my oppinion ,i have had more wiseco powered motors pop than any other .look and see if vertex can get ya pistons for that application way stronger ,coated ,and lighter
Yea I picked up vertex for my kx I am building. I am basically pricing everything i would need at the worst. I will be picking up parts once I figure out exactly what I need tomorrow.

The twin cylinder setup blows when it comes to reliability. Anybody that can actually ride the balls off something properly, knows this.

most if not alll failures are from inproper cyl balance excessive beating without a good tune ,if all is right they dont blow up as long as maintanance is done and top ends done on time ,there is a reason they tell ya to redo it at 10-20 hrs of race use ya know

Just picked up a set of Gorr’s ported cylinders,65.25mm pistons, .110 cut redomed head, and welded crank. Hopefully it’s back up and running this weekend!
