Quad should be back up and running this weekend. Got all the parts to get the motor back together today. Just waiting on my new reeds and spacers that should be here tomorrow.
Got bored at work last night, so I rebuilt my motor.
Disassembly, Shit ass crank
Cleaned everything in a parts cleaner. Smoothed out the pits in the crank area.
Motor already had a Pro Design adj. timing plate. Had it set to -10 :wtf, reset it to +4 as recommended.
Gorr’s Ported 371 cylinders.
Pistons on.
Ran across this broken bolt for my trans bearing hold down. Drilled and removed it. Replaced both bolts and lock tightened them.
All back together, added some reed spacers whilel I was in there.
Just need to toss some orings in the Cool head and bolt it in the quad.
So we going riding this week then?
Most likely. Tossing it in tomorrow at monro along with the jimmy fuel pump.

she will run good for sure but make sure you jet for the break in period, then re-jet when it brakes in as it will dramatically change whether it will be lean or rich.
I dont know anything about your setup but have you ever thought about getting the big single carb conversion? That helps ALOT on the banshee’s and also is a shit load easier to tune.
The whole top end is used with 3hrs on it already. I am running a 290 and 30 jets with T5 pipes. I looked into the single conversion before, but I heard it hurts top end performance a lot.
Haven’t called him yet. I don’t like looking at anything till I have a good amount of cash for it.
it does ,a good balance bottle or "boost bottle " some call it is a way better mod ,even if the stocker is on it huck it and get a good aftermarket one and make sure the balance is on
They normally have just a piece of pipe between the carbs where the bootle would be.
