yeah prolly cause theyre knock offs, since they stopped making the real ones a while ago, the ones from china, russia and the likes. I think my father paid over 1500 for his when he bought it, but its an original.

If it looks like and ak and shoots like one It probably is one.Was it new or used?I know a few people that are heavily into shooting and thats the price he was selling it.
