So, I'm going through the Ultima UK site....

I’ve got a customer who wants to put one of these cars together, so I’m working on an estimate of cost, build time, power, and so on. Should be a pretty interesting winter project.

Anyway, they have a section of the site dedicated to US customers, and so I’m scrolling through…anyway, check out the pictures of the red car about 1/2 way down the page, and the two after that further down the page.

HA, GI NY, pretty sweet

Sweet, it doesn’t look like the plates are NY, but I am blind as a bat.

Can’t wait to see if you get to build one of those.

You retard, look at the street signs…

I have seen that car before, some guy had it at watkins glen in the car show that runs along with the vintage racing. I wasnt very impressed with what it was. Tell him to build a noble.

A picture of that car on the Island was posted here once before a bit back.

 to building one though!

Sweet. What’s the general price range for one of those kits?

Looks like $27,995 plus shipping.

Not even close. The BASICS are $27.9k, but most of the stuff you NEED is listed as “options” not to mention this is before we talk about drivetrain, etc, etc. All said and done you’ll be 60-80k in parts (not labor) into an Ultima. I’ve done ALLLL the research on this.

what we’re looking to do…figure rolling chassis right around 70k shipped. Then it’s time to install a powertrain

I’d rather build a GTM supercar

Regardless, sure looks pretty awesome and should be a fun build.

The dark red LS7 GTM also uses an upgraded Porsche gearbox from the rear wheel drive turbo GT2

I met a guy that had one at a DE at The Glen.
I was impressed.
I believe he hit 200mph on the back straight, he was under 2:00 lap times!!!
Obviously it is like any good car, it really needs a good driver to impress.
It was dark blue or black.
