here is my question.

The current people running for president.

Obama and mccain are both senators. are they both still senators now? if so how the fuck do you get to run for president, campaign like darkstar on lil kim and still maintain that position ? or do they have a temporary person to fill their spot?

I’m lost. That’s like saying to your Significant other. hey honey for 18 months i’m going fuck another person and i will still be your spouse if things don’t work out.

they are still senators. They can and do stop back from time to time, especially if there are important votes.

while campaigning for president, they really only show up in the Senate for close votes.

for example, S. Amdt. 4979 to S. 3001 was the last thing passed, and was passed with 94 yeas and 2 nays, with four senators not voting, including the candidates.
