Looked at the car today…
Absolutely great condition. A few minor paint defects, but hey, the cars 10 years old.
Engine bay is pristine, interior is pristine, car sounds great.
Very solid buy. I’m trying to come up with the funds to buy it, but god damn this is a STEAL.

the guy I bought it from just told me both the tranny fluid and the rear were just changed with Royal Purple fluids and the new radiator has Dexcool with Royal Purple additive
well me and my mom went into the hospital on Tues to remove my dads life support, when I got there the nurse was bringing in a bag of morphine for comfort measures
my gut feeling told me no so we held off
yesterday he was minimally responsive but when a Dr yelled his name he opened his eyes and looked at him, he also opened his eyes several times when I asked him to
So perhaps hes not brain dead, hes still very critically ill but his chances have improved from 0% to about 5%
I am off of work until the end of Janurary via a Drs note for stress and anxiety and have filed for disability, I also have disability insurance on my loan
I could afford to keep the car I supposed but I really dont want to be bothered with all the paperwork and what not as I have a ton of stuff to do just for work as it is
This is my final price drop on the car before I man up , fill out all the paper work and let disability pay for the car
Before I forget the car has aftermarket Pioneer speakers but it needs a $50 Monsoon headunit as the previous seller had a $$$$ aftermarket in it and I had him pull it out, the car is wired for subs in the hatch
Also the front bumper bird filler plate is brand new
oh and the headlights and windows work 100%, no problems
sorry to hear about the situation…if i had the money this car would be sold now.

got a nice lowball on it today, spent an hour while a guy and his kid crawled all over it, it was basically like well it has a paint chip here and has some swirl marks here, dosent look like its ever been buffed out, its not showroom
I explained to him it was a 11yr old car that has 90k on it and had it been a garage kept show queen I would be asking double what I am
Then they want to drive it to which I show up the fact my driveway is on an incline and the car dosent have snows on it and is bound to get stuck, to which they look at me like I am full of shit
(later they notice the tread pattern of the Khumos and state “oh wow that really would get stuck”)
I compromise and pulled it outside and from 2 feet away in the daylight it looks mint (thankfully a gust a wind came along and covered my freshly waxed car with a light covering of snow) and then it was them being skeptical it was from FL because the rubber seals on the doors are in too nice of shape and they didnt trust carfax because carfax was wrong once, nevermind the fact the guy I bought it from told me how he acquired it and carfax backs his story up
and then despite the fact I told him I was selling because of my family problems he told his kid I was looking to flip it like a house because I had my eye on something else, I explained my situation to him again but he didnt seem to understand
and then it was “look how low the exhaust hangs” and I said well its not scuffed or scraped up, yes its low but it clears and it was “well the way I drive the first time I went over tracks I would rip it off”
and then it was “oh it dosent have t-tops so if I went to resell it I might not be able to” almost like I should knock money off the price because it dosent have ttops
oh and then it was theres this Lt1 Camaro thats built for $6800 in North Carolina
oh and then they wanted my opinion on why people do heads/cam swaps on Ls1s and why dont they just turbocharge them, so after humoring them for another 10mins bullshitting about Ls1 modding …
he wanted to give me $4k

I told him to go online and find a 6 speed ls1 car that has under 100k and a clean title within 5 states of here thats as cheap or cheaper than mine and we will talk

Its a rust free, nice looking, excellent daily driver quality car that needs next to nothing, from fucking 5’ away it looks like a brand new car

luckily for me when i sold my fbod (which was no where near in good condition as yours cosmetically) they didnt even complain about the price and fell in love with it just driving it 100ft thru a parking lot, the guys mom even did a burnout :lol: you just need to find the right people

Another thing I found funny was the guy was trying to tell me the car must be beat on because it has SFCs
I explained to him that SFCs are a pretty basic mod on fbods and some people claim they reduce the dimpling that occurs on the 1/4 panels and he was just like yeah its been beat on
