im gonna take a guess an say when he joined the “national guard” not the army, navy, etc he wasnt planning on being deployed and being a “real solider” he probably thought he was gonna get a free ride through school and it back fired in his face.

But everything you said fairgentlemen is right, my gut just tells me this guy got more then he bargained for when he signed up and now hes trying to be a trailblazer, and nothing good can come from it, and he will ultimately suffer greatly for trying to weasel his way out of his commitment, so i like most of you have no sympathy for him
