I am going for something like this, except with weld drag lites.
Looks damn awful good to me, but I’d take the GS over the GN anyday, buddy.
lol thanks tom, the GS is going to them also, getting the doors straightened out. Somehow my father can see some ripples, i cant lol
Did you use photobooth to take these pictures?
wtf are u talking about?
ive always wanted to get a butchered GN and a regal parts car and go to town, something missing its original engine but still a dam good parts car
drop in an aluminium 455 block and heads and cover it with all the bulshit a factory moptor would have, see how much power i could put to the ground while still making people say “did it come that way” and “yea, my dad had a 455 powered GN when i was a kid”
i can see them, along w/ the wave in the 1/4 panel, and the waves in the rocker of the car nelstoys posted
not that they are bad at all, just visable to someone thats picky, lol
nah, he was talking about the red GS in the garage
huh?
sorry to tell ya the GN is as straight as an arrow, the only thing thats getting fixed on it is the roof sills, they are wavy as shit from the factory.
and shame on you for even thinking of putting a 455 in a real GN. Thats just stupid.
I’ve gone for a ride in the GS in the background. Buick made some straight serious iron back in the day. '70 Stage One 455 made, what, 510 lb/ft just off idle?
these turbo 6’s built well kill the best of the best.
yes bone stock stage 1 510lbs.
it needs it tho, the car isnt light lol
sounds pretty fun!
it is, especially since its not bone stock
im deff buying another gn soon, but i want a higher mile car so i can make it all white and do the engine up. My car had low miles and i could not cut her up.
I LOVE these cars
Update: Car is all in primer now and block sanded, waiting for paint. Trunk, Bumpers, and Hood are in color waiting to be color sanded. Should be done in a few weeks.
Total cost should be around 5k for everything, my dad gets a good discount at al-will so that saved a bunch on money on the paint and such.
when i had ine apart for paint i went ahead and took the rest of the interior out and put some dynomat down. Now is the time to do it. Also its good because then the seats and carpet dont get dirty with dust.
naw my father isnt that picky with the dynomat, and the interior is still spotless, theyt cover it all, it was taken off for the pics.
good god, you mean you do other things than play video games? lol looks nice, cant wait to see it done!
Looks good, how were his bumper fillers? Mine are starting to look a little saggy after 21 years.
