Wow awesome work.
beautiful:bigthumb:
awesome love the color
“we gon bring it up on a chip yeee haaawww” looks sick as hell man … i see how it is go to florida, build cool shit, buy a lex, hmm when can i move in???
thanks guys. it’s hilarious though, we fired it up last night, and with running these N1 VE cams, it idles like my lexus with no exhaust on it whatsoever, just dumping straight out of the turbo. when we degreed the high lobes on these cams, they are nasty though, like a 250 duration @ .050. our old heads only had like a 232
Nice-- sounds like that version addresses the weak points of the standard head.
what turbo is that? BW?
looks awsome… Good luck at your first races…I will see you in Jersey!(if things go well)
that is awesome. nice full out race car.
drool
It says garrett on it
Does the cap on the end of the intake manifold have a concave/convex shape to it? Just curious. As you may already know it creates better flow for the 4th cyl. Awesome lookin project Jay!
I remember him saying 45R but that housing looks diff??
Idk?
Hey Joe you think we can run this turbo in Pws:doh:
No
i know i know its just a joke bc with all the rules changes this year my 3567 almost isnt legal
it’s a custom built by garrett GT4508 (80.3 mm instead of 80.8) with the biggest exhaust housing available.
yeah, we know, but it’s a flat plate. we usually build them with aluminum spheres we cut in half. problem with this thing is it is right up against the motor plate. in fact, we need to modify it so we can get the motor out without pulling the intake manifold.
:eek4:
first race you guys will be running?
still busting our asses on the car to make this weekends race in georgia, but don’t know if we will or not yet
