Did you swap the cam?
Aren’t you supposed to fire it up and hold it at 2000rpm or so for a few minutes to break in the cam? I know the ford guy’s say to do this or shit starts breaking? :dunno:

yes did a cam swap, really only thing to really break in would be valve springs, start up, and let it warm up to full tempature, then shut off and let it do a complete cool down, and it was held for a few minutes between 1000-1500 rpms soo computer could start to learn self soo it could hold idle…thanks everybody for the compliments

Not with the 26s that came in 2000’s you will be out of injector, I will bet you will be over 90% on your duty cycle, I do not know if sam has upgraded to version 2.0 or 2.1 of tuners but if he has it will show it in the logs. Spend the 300 bucks and get a set of svo 30’s. The 30s are very easy to tune and will bring your duty cycle down to the magic 75% mark. The 26s did not cut it on my dads 2000 SS that i installed a set of tea heads and a very similiar comp cam on xer lobes. I was hitting 100% duty cycle on my logs, 78% with the 30’s. My 2002 with 28.8’s 231/237 ppstg2 heads runs about 88%
