someone finally got it right looky

looky this chevy power in a ford icon … :crackup :bowdown
discuss…

blown lsx in a cobra. thats sick! :wow

Please dear God, let Adam see this ASAP. :lol

i know right its true its right finnally perfected the car :worship

Thats just wrong.
Its like putting a Ford engine in a Corvette.

ls1 engine is really a good engine all around, great economy great power, and put a little boost on it and your making more than a cobra

its not wrong its good god touches all lsx series motors dont ya know …if ford could produce a motor worth puttin in a vet smeone would have done it but no they cant so im not gonna worry

I have seen LSX motors in Cobra’s but not charged. I have seen a twin turbo SHO V6 in a Cobra at Carlise Fairgrounds but I cant find any pics.

I love Cobra Replicas no matter what is in them. My ex girlfriends dad has a Factory 5 replica with a 03 Mach 1 Drivetrain in it and it sounds sick!

id so drop a ford 427 in a first gen vette… lmfao…its a :nono :nono among the ford community but id do it just to be a fucking prick.

427 was a joke shitty motor couldnt spool it up unreliable at best if anything at all do a 460 a lot better of a motor…but its stilla ford

:shifty …uhhh wow i like that alot, even tho its a :nono to alot of people

Not that it isn’t impressive but he will most likely end up being shot…

W T F ! :idiots

Makes me want to punch infants

I knew Adam would love it. ;D

A 460 is great if youre powering a dump truck but too damn heavy for much else.

you do realize those things ran 12.2 seconds @ 118 MPH or better stock right? i mean i dont really think the 427 was a joke… They were rated at 615 hp (458 kW) at 7,000 rpm with a single four-barrel carburetor, and 657 hp (490 kW) at 7,500 rpm with dual four barrel carburetors. Ford sold them via the parts counter, the single four-barrel model as part C6AE-6007-363S, the dual carburetor model as part C6AE-6007-359J

NASCAR effectively legislated the SOHC engine out of competition through rule changes, and the awaited 1965 Ford SOHC vs. Chrysler Hemi competition at the Daytona 500 season opener never occurred. This was the only engine ever banned from NASCAR. Nevertheless, the 427 found its niche in drag racing, powering many A/FX Factory Experimental Mustangs, and becoming the basis for a few supercharged Top Fuel dragsters

for what they were back in the day and considering that a cobra will run about 1.5 million for one of the origonal cars i would say the last thing the 427 was, was a joke, now for forced induction yes probly not the best choice because they did have oiler issues especialy the early models that fed the crank second instead of first.

now if your going to drop somthing into a cobra other then a old school 427 and throw a blower on it i would recomend this one of these.

somthing newer of course
