Someone please identify this part for me

So my YZF600R tipped over from the strong wind last weekend and a part fell out when I test rode it after the drop. I have no idea what that is so someone please identify it for me. Thanks

on the positive side of the battery, my gsxr had one, i never used it i threw it away

honestly i have no idea, but it is not important, it comes with every new battery

Its a Battery bearing, it keeps the battery terminal spinning in high winds.
