SON 2010 Season Opener

Okay so this year why don’t we do a get together to open the season.

Last year there was GPK…this year why don’t we all go to Formula Kartways instead?

I’m thinking either Saturday March 27, 2010 or April 3, 2010 (this gives you a few weeks to get your shit together and running properly).

We’ll all meet at Formula Kartways at let’s say 5-6pm, get some Dori Action in and then go to Boston Pizza or Wild Wings for dinner.

I know with Formula Kartways the more people that come they’ll generally do a group rate.

As for list purposes here is the start.

If people will post in this thread I’ll check back and then in turn make the appropriate phone calls.

+1. After all were just going to hang out and not for the sake of the karting. GPK has a better area to hang out compared to formula kartways.

Hence why I said Wild Wings after… If you don’t want to Kart come to the dinner and cruise it’s as simple as that. We can even cruise to Bramalea City Center or Shopper’s World and hang out after.

also this meet has to be very central… cant be selective to one side of the GTA… otherwise theyd be less ppl…

Yoo early for a season opener though. My car is going back into hibernation very soon, so 9/10 chance I will be there in my Civic lol.

Agreed march 27th is too early, how about something like May 1st (Saturday) and as Shawn stated; a cruise maybe to like Niagara or up north or something

Brampton is fairly middle as well. You either have Brampton, Missisauga or Scarborough… there’s no real central location in the GTA aside from Richmond Hill, Vaughan, etc, which really has shit all to do.

I also said Formula Kartways instead of GPK just for the sake of everyone who I have taken there loved it.

So far we have 4 people. We need atleast 10 for a hope in hell to get any discounts. Let’s make this happen people.

Push back the date to May IMO. I am down for karts, but fuck cruising in my Civic. They need to release another Fast and the Furious movie so I cab sell that fucking Civic already.

Okay I fixed the date… April 24, 2010 or May 1, 2010, post in this thread which day is better for you guys and if Bing or one of the other fellow administrators could add a poll for the specific dates, and update the original post with the new dates that would be much appreciated.
