Son240sx Dyno Day - April 15th

Thanks Dan for the Dyno and Farmer for letting us make alot of noise in his shop.

And it was 259WHP… but 260 is close enough I guess :stuck_out_tongue:

I was pleased thats for sure.

mine was 214hp and 242tq

dyno graph will be up in a second.

Thanks a lot for the dyno and shop Dan and Farmer. Had fun, wish my car’d done better, and I really wish I could have stayed longer. It was a long drive home though… Yeah, like Jammin’ mentioned, not the best numbers, but as a general idea of what I’m working with here, we gained a solid 10whp, and 10tq just by tightening a vacuum line… I’m gonna do some general repair type things on 'er, and fix up some minor issues… Like my exhaust being held on to the turbo elbow by bailing wire (which is still holding, even after the drive home). I’m gonna pick up the nuts I need tomorrow to bolt it back together properly… It’s pretty f’n loud right now. Sounded fairly scary on the dyno.

DarkForceJackal’s buddy has some pics of my car up on the dyno, spd-dmn didn’t get there until I was just backing into the parking lot.

Thanks Max.

I was surprised with the low end torque #'s.

great pictures though dude

I was surprised your motor didn’t blow on the dyno.

i was gonna dyno but my boost was pushing 14 and i didnt want anything to blow, im gonna get dan to dyno me next week or so, and see where im at !

hub hp != whp

DAN, looking forward to using your dyno soon

I’m surprised I went the whole day without punching you in the face.

I’m surprised you didn’t either.

Thanks again Dan for everything.

Here’s mine (the only one that was printed) with 4-5 PSI at the manifold, T3/T4 set up, somewhat restricted exhaust & emissions intact, just
an 8:1 FMU/Walbro for fuel (and a Uego for monitoring).

So it was generally peaking around 175-180 “HUB” HP lol, and 210-220 “HUB” torque. Great to drive on the street.

3400 RPM = torque spanking.

Wiltzor man, your numbers were nuts though! Good stuff!

EDIT: Spd-dmn, thanks for the great pics! I’ll try and get some media off my friend, he MAY have some video…
