My new CF hood is on the way, so i’m looking for a set of hood pins. I’m wondering what’s the different between the Sparco hood pins and others hood pins that are on Ebay for really cheap? TIA.
the cheap ebay ones will rust to shit for ya, get the good ones, the ones that are realy stainless steel

Yeah, speaking from experience the cheaper ones blow. Get the good ones. I know I’m going to this summer, mine didnt even last a month before I saw rust.
I got the Sparco last year and it rusted a little too 
. Too bad Sparco don’t have black hood pins.

get those flush mounted locking ones, they look better than the loop pull-pins IMO
I just put sparco’s on my car, Of course all of my fluttering issues were solved with these…and no corrosion yet. I just had to work up a lot of nerve to drill my hood.

I’ve heard good stuff about the APC ones.

I have the APC ones on the audi because they are all I could find in a day. The rings rusted in about a day, but they work well.
I can’t because my hood is not flat where the pins are gonna be. It’s on a slightly slope. I think I will get the sparco and powder coat it black.
Where do you guys got your Sparco pins from? Most places is like $35 plus shipping. Thanks.
Thats about the going rate…next time i go to cleveland I think I can score a pair for 25
