Speaker Selection Help / Power available

I owned the s2000 before deebo and installed the tweeters in the doors. I bought the rockford fosgate prime component set and they sounded pretty nice. The tweeters were very easy to install as long as you have hole bits and once installed they sit completely flush and look stock. The only thing i had to do was cut some metal on the passanger side door and that took 2 seconds.

Do you have any photos at all of this. I really want tweeters!

I made sure to exchange the head unit to get one that can be amped

So after talking about not putting a sub in the car. I am happy that I changed the Headunit. I just got my hands on an 8" Pro tech Sub/1200 watt amp that can power both sub and speakers/small fully closed box/all the wires I need. Picked it up for a steal because of a guy at work never using it. He says he got it from Custom Radio new, never used… I picked up the full setup for a whopping $50

have you ever had problems with your speakers cutting out when you turned the wheel lol? i think it may just be because theres a draw on power, and the radio can’t handle it and it’s a coincidence … or bad ground loose.
I am thinking of adding 2 speakers behind the seats and a really small sub +amp in the trunk because the volume sucks with the top down. and ill never be able to overpower the sound of my exhaust

lol, its funny you say that. I’m wondering whats going to happen when I install this amp today. I do notice that every once in a great while that turning the wheel, even one time putting the top down did it. So, I hope I’m not going to run into power issues for the amp/sub/speaker combo.

I did the fabrication on the speaker install last night. Took a few hours but they are in and look flush and clean like they were from the factory. I know you already have them in the car which is the only reason I went through with it so easily. haha I saw the pictures of what you had before it was sold to you.

I’m planning to put the sub/amp and wires for everything today. I found a wiring diy on a s2k forum. Its pretty damn good for giving info on how to do it yourself for sure.

Check it out, and this time I’ll do photos again.

Sorry for the shitty photos. I ended up using my Ipod touch to take most of them since I didn’t have my camera. Needed more lighting.

But here’s what I ended with when I did the speakers.
