i was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the sr speed sensor out of the tranny without breaking it? took the bolt out but it still wouldnt budge. any tricks? i need to take it out because the speedometor is not reading correctly after the sr swap. i changed the gage cluster allready. used a sr lower tranny harness. anyone have some advice?
Just wiggle and twist it out it’ll work
you have to use the ka speed sensor anyways cause it reads km…
The SR speed sensor is the same as the CDN speed sensor… we both use kph only in the US do you need to swap the sensors.
The plug will be different but thats a simple re-wire.
ok thanks for the advice. the speedometer is sumwhat working however it is not giving me the proper reading. ie im going 80km, speedometer reads 25km? tahts why i was thiking i needed to change the sensor,
