theres another 944 with 3" exhaust and a borla muffler for shame. was it a turbo?
yup. he just needed the muffler to keep it a little quieter. hebuilt a full 3" for it and didnt want it to be ridiculous.
also, the CAI is awesome. i love it. makes mid range much better and BOV sounds great. im really pleased with it.
my 3" exhaust should only help(whenever it decides to show up)

sounds like a quick car you got there solo. I was thinking you were still in the area so I was thinking there might be another modified 944 turbo in the area. Though I bet my turbo is bigger than his alot bigger t67 
to be honest i think the mazdaspeed cai is a little loud. I’m not one for a whole lot of extra noise though. Nice to actually hear the turbo though
Covering the wheel well vents takes the edge off of the sound perfectly imo. Which I recommend anyways, for the winter months.
i like it. its getting a lot of air and giving a lot of air to my turbo. which i like:D

yea it may be the same engine but the the fwd and weight play a large part in the roll factor, i drive both the speed3 and 6 atleast once a week I’m very familiar with both…

AWD drivetrain loss + weight is a sure formula for a speed6 loss from a roll… from a dig to 80 maybe
The speed3 is lighter, so it would probably be able to edge out it’s big brother. The speed6 is up around 3500lbs i believe.
Now you put a couple fat people in the speed3, no chance
