there should be an automatic picard that comes up when JEG posts on something political. The money that the Indians are bringing in goes into Smokin Joe’s pocket, and people like him. If they turned the same profit margins as normal gas stations, I could respect that, but instead they mark the gas up 40-50 cents above their price, compared to the ~5 cents a gallon a normal gas station makes, so it’s just below regular prices but he still makes 10x more profit. Thats why he keeps adding car washes, more stations, “Trading Post” superstores, etc. Other than the minimum wage jobs at the facilities, they plow the money right into reinvestment in their businesses. Hopefully, the gravy train is over. Good riddance.
And the shit that they usually pull is not going to fly any more. With all of this homeland security shit, most of the stunts they’d pull could be considered terrorist activities. We’ll see if they get away with it. If muslims started a tire fire on the thruway, they’d be on the next flight to guantanamo bay.
